Welcome to the Official Website for the STL Region Solo Program

Solo (AKA Autocross) is a test of driving skill and the car's agility in which one car at a time is driven over a clearly defined course, the elapsed time and penalties for course deviations being the determining factor for awards.  Most Solo events take place in large parking lots, with the course defined by orange pylons. Speeds are limited and the hazards to spectators and participants do not usually exceed those encountered in normal, legal highway driving.  Watch the video below to see how easy it is to enter an event and have fun with your car at these events!

Sept 11 Event #9 moving to Oct. 9

At the request of Family Arena We have switched date of the Series Event #9 from Sept. 11 to October 9, 2011.

FYI, we communicated to Family Arena that we would help them and move dates, when possible, if they asked.  They agreed to work with us on cost and othe items in return.  This relatioship is excellent and we see it as a long range partnership agreement.

Thanks to all of the management of Familt Arena for their support for our sport.

May 7 Event Moved to May 8

Due to a schedule conflict at Family Arena the Saturday, May 7 Event has been moved to Sunday may 8, 2011. 

This event will be our "My Momma is faster than your Momma Event". So invite Mom to the event and enjoy a day of autocrossing!

New venue for 2011 - Family Arena

SCCA Solo Announcement – A new venue has been secured for St. Louis Region SCCA Solo program. We will be at Family Arena in St. Charles for the 2011 Season. We are set to have at least 10 events for 2011. This comes on the same day as the announcement of the closing of our current venue, Gateway Raceway.

This month's feature at the St. Louis Region SCCA Social will be a discussion on Solo Suspension hosted by Mr. Dave Whitworth.  He will be bringing out his EM car for everyone to drive,  drool over, look at ;D  That should make it worth joining us at Spazio's in Westport at 6pm!  For those of you who have never joined us before, Shame On You!  And here's their address:

Tech-O-Rama March 20th!!

 Don't miss our first ever Tech-O-Rama on Saturday, March 20th from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Jim Lynch Hummer in Chesterfield Valley.

This event is an open meet and greet for SCCA members and non-members alike.  There will be sponsor tables, membership information, seminars and car displays.  Members from all programs will be available to give out information and answer questions.
